Funeral services were held at the 36th Street Church of Christ, Vienna, for Mrs. Elizabeth May Anderson, who died in Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. Evangelist Hunter C. Miller officiated and burial was in Ravenswood Cemetery. Born in Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Lucy Wright Shockey. She was a member of the 36th Street Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, Raymond Dare Anderson, Vienna; three daughters, Mrs. Freda Patterson and Mrs. Justine Hale, both of Vienna, and Mrs. Irene Dailey of Parkersburg; four brothers, Earl Shockey of Akron, Ohio, Carl and Gordon Shockey, Ravenswood, and John Shockey of Vienna; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Lambert, Washinton and Mrs. Dale Palmer of Ravenswood; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
