Frances and Joseph had four children: Eileen Frances (O'Brien) Mills (1927 - ?); Joan Marie (O'Brien) Dawson (1928-1975); Robert O'Brien (1931-2009); and Richard Francis O'Brien.
Tragically, Frances died at the age of 35 after a long battle with tuberculosis. She is buried in Saint Raymond's Cemetery.
