Roy Perrin

Services were held May 21 in the Trinity Baptist Church for Roy O. Perrin who died May 19, 1990 in the Mangum City Hospital at the age of 87. Rev. Roy Oates, pastor, officiated the service. Burial was in the Reed Cemetery under the direction of Greer Funeral Home.

Born March 30, 1903 near Reed, Indian Territory the son of F.J. and Elizabeth Perrin, he has lived all of his life in this area.

In 1925, he married Thelma Moss, west of Reed at the County line.
In addition to farming, has has operated several different businesses including a neighborhood grocery in Mangum. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma; six children Jeanne Gelnar of Altus, Joe Perrin of Dallas, Texas, Ima Lee Sampson of Witchita, Kansas, Troy Perrin of Amarillo, Texas, Peggy Ramage of Topeka, Kansas and Barbara Arnold of Burkburnett, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and one brother Charles Perrin of Midwest City.
