My father's maternal grandfather. Francis Warrens' parents were Samuel and Nancy Gill Gilbert of Spencer County KY!. Francis Warren was the husband of Sarah B Parkhurst (daughter of Charles L Parkhurst b. NY and Elizabeth Perkins Smith of KY) and is the father of Leslie, Harry, Rhoda, Emma, Anna and Richard. Francis' first wife was Sarah Emily Stodghill, who died after a few years of marriage. Their children were Cordie Malinda Gilbert (1871-1932) and Jonas Samuel Gilbert B. 1874. Cordie (and possibly Jonas)was raised by her Uncle Jonas Stodghill after their mother's early death.
