Obituary - Barnesville Enterprise, Dec 29, 1955 - Thomas Miller, aged 82, died Friday morning, December 23 at 4 o'clock at the home of his son, Raymond Miller in Minerva. He had been a resident of the Somerton Community for 20 years and was formerly of Stafford. Mr. Miller had been in failing health for several years.
Surviving are his widow Mrs. Cleo Catwell Miller; three sons, Willard W. of Somerton, Raymond of Minerva, Vernon with the U.S. Army, stationed in Tokyo; four daughters, Mrs. Berenice Dyer and Mrs. Irene Steen, both of Barnesville, Mrs. Minnie Steen of Minerva and Mrs. Della Helms of Stewartsville. Three sisters and one brother also survive.
The body was removed to the Steele Funeral Home in Somerton where services were held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock, followed by final services at 2:30 at the Stafford Methodist Church with the Rev. Newton Ferguson officiating. Burial was made in the Stafford Cemetery.
