Fred Mueller, 62, passed away Monday at his home, 1127 N. Sixth street, after a lengthy illness.
He was born March 25, 1875, at Plymouth, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mueller. He attended the public schools in Plymouth and spent his early manhood there. On Feb. 28, 1916, he was married to Amelia Voltz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Voltz.
He resided with his family in the vicinity of Plymouth until 1923. For the following 13 years, until February, 1937, he served in this city as janitor of the Zion Reformed church.
He is survived by his wife; six children, Mrs. Norma Voltz, Mrs. Ida Voltz, Herman Mueller, Mrs. Ovilla Wachter, Edward Mueller, Miss Sarah Mueller, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Ballhorn Funeral temple and at 1:30 o'clock at the Zion Reformed church. The Rev. E. H. Wessler will officiate and burial will be made in the family lot at Union cemetery in Plymouth.
Friends may view the body at the funeral home from this evening until the time of services.
