Warren H. Barnes, aged 71 years, died Saturday morning at 6 o'clock at the home of Fred Gilbert in Smithville. He was born in Henderson, a son of Joseph and Louise Alexander Barnes.
He is survived by two daughters, Misses Mattie and Bessie Barnes of Adams, a sister, Mrs. Sarah Boyce of Henderson.
The funeral was held Monday at 2 p. m. at the home of Mrs. Ivory, Rev. A. B. Aldrich, pastor of the Baptist church of Adams Center, officiated and burial was in Rural cemetery, Adams.
