Deaths:In Calais, pos., 14 May, 1862. Two men killed in a sawmill. Five men were at work under the mill around the water wheel, when the bulkhead of the floor gave away, letting the whole head of water upon them, starting the water wheel and carrying two of the men around with it. Mr. Sawyer Murphy was immediately killed, and a Mr. Dinsmore, so much injured, that he died in a few hours. The other two escaped. (Eastport Sentine, May 21, 1862)
