"AGED LADY DIES ON CANE CREEK
Mrs. Elizabeth Willis, widow of the late R. T. Willis died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Sealy Friday, March 6th, after several days illness due to heart trouble, age 75.
Mrs. Willis was twice married and is survived by three children by her former husband, James Hinson: One son, S. H. Hinson of this place and two daughters, Mrs. Fronie Duncan of this place and Mrs. C. A. Lancaster of Route 2 Hohenwald. She is survived by four children by her last marriage, R. D. Willis of this place and Esq. Tom Willis of slippery, Mrs. Walter Sealy with whom she was making her home and Mrs. Vennie James of Missouri. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren as well as a host of near relatives and friends.
The deceased has been a devout member of the Church of Christ for more than 45 years. Funeral services were conducted by Bro. Will Sisco and the remains laid to rest in the family burying ground on Slippery Saturday."
