Bonnie (Blackwell) Blackwell
Bonnie (Blackwell) Blackwell, 70, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002, at her residence in Franklin.
She was born Sept. 19, 1932, in Monroe County. Her parents were James Ellis and Vanessa Iva (Easton) Blackwell. She married Charles Blackwell on June 11, 1949, in Franklin. He preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy C. Wright and Rebecca L. Rogers, both of Franklin; four brothers, Lenial Blackwell and Paul Blackwell, both of Franklin, Russell Blackwell of Greenwood and Hershell Blackwell of Bloomington; a sister, Betty Jacobs of Franklin; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Blackwell; and a great-grandson, Jacob Cassetty.
She attended Franklin High School.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Franklin Church of the Nazarene and Franklin Women's Bowling Association.
The Rev. Larry Stover will conduct a service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.
