ARTHUR G. SUTTNER - Arthur George Suttner was born January 11, 1891, in St. Louis and passed away December 30, 1943, at his home in Union, at the age of 52 years, 11 months, and 19 days. He was baptized in the catholic faith and as a child attended St. Liborius church school. On February 19, 1914, he was united in Holy Matrimony with Miss Anna Wiesehahn. To this union two daughters were born, Marion, now Mrs. Russel E. Murphy of Denver, Colorado, and Betty Jane, at present a student nurse in St. Louis, who together with their mother and the son-in-law mourn his departure. A brother, Jerome J. Suttner, and a sister, Mrs. Marie F. Zeuschel, together with other relatives and friends are also among the bereaved. In 1934 the family moved to Union where he became affiliated with Zion Evangelical church and was received into official membership on Reformation Sunday in 1942. Funeral services were held at Zion church on Sunday afternoon with the Rev. Albert B. Gaebe officiating, and burial was in Zion cemetery.

ARTHUR SUTTNER PASSES AWAY - Arthur Suttner, 52, died Thursday morning, December 30, at his home in union after an illness of several years. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Marion and Betty Jane. Funeral arrangements had not been completed at the time of going to press.
