Catharina K. Van Leeuwen, age 90, passed away at her home in Taylorsville, Utah on March 18, 1998.
She was born August 19, 1907 in Delft, The Netherlands.
She married Karel G. Van Leeuwen in Delft. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They immigrated to the United States in 1951. He preceded her in death March 15, 1992. Also preceded by a granddaughter, Nancy Van Leeuwen and two sons-in-law, Jacob Nieuwland and Cornelis Dicou. She is a member of the Taylors Grove Ward.
Survived by three sons and three daughters, Catharina Nieuwland, Karel (Janna) Van Leeuwen, Susan Dicou, Anthonie (Hanny) Van Leeuwen, Harro (Linda) Van Leeuwen, Marion (Wayne) Walden; 28 grandchildren, and 39 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Road, Saturday, March 21, 1998, at 10 a.m. At her request a graveside service will follow at 11 a.m.
