Mary E. Rogers, 102, of Boise, died October 10, 2009 under the care of hospice, of natural causes. A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 15 at Joplin cemetery under the direction of Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, Boise.
Mary was born on March 9, 1907 in Nashville, Tenn. to W.T. and Eula Baucom. She married Wesley Rogers on Nov. 2, 1946. Mary worked for 17 years in the Boise school system and 9 1/2 years for St. Alphonsus.
Mary is survived by her son, Tuck C. Rogers; step-son, Robert C. Rogers; step-daughter, Katy Uribe; and sister, Marie Smith. In lieu of flowers, Mary requested that donations go to the charity of your choice.
