Emmett Nearl Anderson, 85, Springfield, Mo., passed away at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, 1997, in St. John's Regional Heath Center.
Emmett was born April 22, 1912, the son of Charles and Mamie (Hall) Anderson. He was united in marriage to Ollie Frances Adams March 1, 1934, and she preceded him in death after 59 year of marriage. He was a retired feed mill operator. After his wife's death, Emmett lived with his daughter, Arveta Baker. He enjoyed children and was a wonderful Dad, Grandpa, Papa, and Great-Grandpa.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; a son-in-law Harlan Baker; a grandson, Donnie Baker; a great-grandson, Matthew Anderson; and five sisters.
