Joe D. Burch was born near Mona, Kansas November 18, 1879 and made that his home until the age of twenty-one when he moved to Mt. Hope, Kansas and lived there and various other places in Kansas until 1910 when he came to Colorado and since that time has lived in different places in the San Luis Valley until his death May 8, 1926 on his farm near Del Norte.
On May 3, 1905, he was united in marriage to Grace Crow at Hutchinson, Kansas and to this union two children were born, Guy and Delbert.
Mr. Burch is survived by his wife and two sons of Del Norte; an aged father and mother; two brothers and one sister, living in Kansas.

Joe and Grace had two children Guy Archibald Burch and Delbert Raymond Burch. Guy died in Oregon. He is buried in Alaska. Delbert died in 1927. I am assuming that he is buried in the other "Burch" grave in this cemetery. pwc
