Aubrey Cloninger was born in Yell County,Arkansas 25 Sept 1900 to Eli Francis Cloninger and Eldora King who married in Yell County,Arkansa on 24 Feb 1889. Aubrey's mother Eldora King Cloninger died in 1904. Eli Francis Cloninger married Dovie Russ on 22 Oct. 1905.
Aubrey Cloninger married Bernice Helen Perkins in Commerce,TX.,on 14 Dec.1925. In 1927,their son Aubrey Joe Cloninger was born in Commerce,TX.
During the Depression years,Aubrey Cloninger and his family moved to Midland,TX., to find employment. He later was employed by the Convair plant in Ft.Worth,TX.,which manufactured B-29 aircraft. While working at the plant, Aubrey nearly suffocated when he became trapped in one of the B-29 aircraft in which he was working.
When Aubrey Cloninger retired from Convair in Ft.Worth,he and his wife Bernice Helen Perkins moved back to Commerce,TX.,to be near his wife's sister Grace Lou Perkins Stephenson and his relatives.
In the 1980's Aubrey Cloninger and his wife moved to Quitman,TX to be near his wife's sister Grace Lou Perkins Stephenson. On 10 June 1986,Aubrey Cloninger passed away in a Quitman nursing home. Burial was 12 June 1886 in the Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce,TX.
