the steering wheel of her car on
Wednesday morning, December 14, 1932.
Death was caused by a self inflicted bullet
wound in the head.
Mrs. Bentz was in the employ of the
Rosewood Training School, Owings Mills,
as a matron and had left there for her
home about 7:15. She was found at the
garage on her premises by her brother-in-
law, R. C. Cullison, who, with his wife,
resided with Mrs. Bentz.
The deceased had been ill for the past
three years and suffered despondency in
the death of her husband, Michael R.
Bentz.
State's Attorney Theodore F. Brown,
Coroner George E. Benson and Deputy
Sheriff Leo Warner conducted the investigation
and deemed an inquest unnecessary.
She was a daughter of the late Louis
D. and Martha E. Gore of Baltimore,
and was an active member of Finksburg
Methodist Protestant church. Mrs.
Bentz was a member of Ionic Chapter,
Order of the Eastern Star, Reisterstown.
One brother, R. D. Gore, Reisterstown,
one sister, Mrs. Cullison, who resides at
the Bentz home, survive.
Private funeral services were conducted
from the late residence this afternoon
at 2.00 o'clock. Her pastor, the
Rev. Avery C. Donovan was in charge.
Interment was in the cemetery adjoining
the Finksburg Methodist Protestant
church.
