Services for Arthur Anderson, 85, of Center Point, who died Monday in a San Antonio hospital will be held Saturday at 3 pm in the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Bruce Adkins will direct the service. Burial will be in the Center Point Cemetery under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapels.
A Center Point resident since 1982, Mr. Anderson was born in Crescent, Oklahoma. He was a former resident of Harlington.
Mr. Anderson was a self-employed builder and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in which he did mission work since 1969 in Palau, Peru; Belize; N.M. Nicaragua; Honduras; and Guatemala.
Other survivors include a son, Edgar Samuel Anderson of Lake Point, California; a sister, Novella M Jones of College Place, Washington; three brothers, Ralph Waldo Anderson of Rubert, Idaho, Carl Duane Anderson of Aklan, California; and Orval Lee Anderson of Laferis; and a great-grandchild.
