ADAMS -- Florence Bannard, age 89, died in Princeton, NJ on February 8, 1973. Survived by her daughter, Jane Bannard Greene, a granddaughter, a grandson, and a great-grandson. Burial services will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois at the convenience of the family.
Florence was married to Francis Adams, Jr. on September 25, 1909. They were divorced before 1925.
She was a dear friend of First Lady Grace Coolidge. They were so close that in 1939, Mrs. Coolidge did not go to the dedication ceremony for the Coolidge Memorial Bridge so that she could attend the wedding of Florence's only daughter, Jane.
