Our precious Dee Dee, 83, a native of Plaquemine & a LASERS retiree, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011 at Carpenter's House. Visitation will be at Wilbert's Funeral Home in Port Allen, Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011 from 5-9 p.m. Visitation at Holy Family Catholic Church, Monday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. celebrated by Msgr. Berggreen. Burial at Grace Memorial in Plaquemine. She is survived by her children: Kent & wife, Kathi, Randy, and Lorrie & husband, Scott Simpson; 10 grandchildren: Stacey Milton, Mimi Julian, Kris Allain, Stephen, Garrett, & Brittni Allain, Josh, Jenna, Jessica & Jordan Simpson; 8 great- grandchildren: Morgan & Tori Julian, Payton & Paige Milton, Connor & Ruston Allain, Kole & Kallie Allain; a brother, Bennie Richard & a sister, Myrtle Haydel. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 yrs. Willie; her parents, Charles & Oneilda Richard and 8 siblings: Beanie, Tugar, Julia, Helen, Margaret, T-Luke, T-Boy, & Joseph. So long, Dee Dee…Go with Jesus!
