Ethel Mary Jefferson 87, of Willis, Texas formerly of Baytown went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2011. Mary was born on November 4, 1924 in Rayne, Louisiana to Oscar and Leona Chaisson.
Mary has lived in the Baytown area most of her life where she last worked as a waitress and was of the Catholic Faith. When she wasn't busy working she enjoyed dancing, pets, listening to zydeco music and most of all spending time with her family. Mary was a very kind, caring and fun loving woman who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; great grandson, Jacob Ryan Pierce-Hunter.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Marion Pierce; grandson, Jerry Hunter; grandson, Robert Hunter; grandson, Thomas Hunter and wife Andrea; great grandchildren, Courtney, Ashley, Jordan and Trevor; sister, Rita Johnson; sister, Joyce Brooks; and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 5-8pm at Sterling-White.
