Glenn Griffin Brock, 77, of Hudson, was born September 23, 1931, in Lufkin, Texas, the son of the late Anna (Griffin) and Ertis Wayne Brock. He passed away Saturday, February 7, 2009, at his residence.

Mr. Brock worked as a tile setter for most of his life, and retired from Lufkin Foundry. He was a very loving, amazing, caring, "out of this world" person. He loved everyone he met and never met a stranger. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. Mr. Brock served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.

Survivors:
- Wife Edwina Watson Brock
- Children: daughter, Glenda McGlothin; son, Larry Joe Watson; daughter, Judy Tobias;
- Sister: Barbara Durham;
- Brother: Ashford Brock
- "special granddaughter", Brandy Terry;
- "special grandson", Justin Hammon;
- 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.

Mr. Brock was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Dean Watson and Randy Watson; daughters, Sharon Skains and Kathy Bruce; and brothers, Roe Brock and Louis Brock.

Pallbearers will be Justin Hammon, Dillon Tobias, Scott Watson, Nolan Lewis, Alex Skains and Joey Hanes. Honorary pallbearers will be Allan Brock, Steve Hobbs, Aaron Terry and Bubba Fondren.

Contributions in Mr. Brock's memory may be made to the Edwina Watson and Glenn Brock account at First Bank & Trust East Texas. Services for Mr. Brock will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2009, in the Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Tony Holder officiating. Interment will follow in the Moscow Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Oakley-Metcalf Home. Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home; directors.
