Death has struck a dreadful blow.

DIED-- On the night of the 26th of this inst. (April) Mrs. Sarah Tunstall, the amiable consort of Mr. William Tunstall of Pittsylvania. If the virtues, and merits of Mrs. Sarah Tunstall, were to be recorded in terms of eloquence, equal to their worth; it would not have fallen, to the lot of him who makes this communication, to have made that record. This communication is made by an acquaintance, who can only say in terms of plainness and sincerity, that she was justly beloved, and respected by all who knew her; and comprising within herself all those virtues which constitute the character of the truly good woman.

She has left behind to lament her loss, an husband, who well knew and justly appreciated her worth, and 8 children, among whom, is a little son, just three weeks old. Death by his stroke has cut off one among the most amiable of her sex, and created, a vacancy in society, which it will be difficult to supply; She bore the attack without complaining; & expired without a struggle; it seemed as if the Lord was there taking her to himself - the just reward for a well spent life.
