Lucile Apple was the 4th child and oldest daughter of Harry Apple and Bessie Cogle. She was born on July 29, 1915 in Roachdale, Indiana. She never married. She worked for Ben Franklin store, first in Warsaw and then in Carthage. She lived in Carthage most of her life. She was known for her ability with crafts of all sorts and her baking abilities. "Cherry Delight" was a favorite of all. She was known to most of her nieces and nephews as Auntie Sis. She was known to some as Aunt 'Cile. She was a cheerful person and loved by all. She succumbed to cancer on May 20, 1983.
