Revolutionary War Solider. Born May 18, 1763 in Donegal Co., Ireland. Served in the Revolutionary War as a teamster under Capt. John Davis, Col. Richard Butler, in PA Militia. In 1840 pension records show him living with son Samuel Smiley at age 79. His wife was Mary Mott who died before him, and is buried at Lansing, NY.
