Graveside services for Quinton Hill will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow. Mr. Hill died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, in Lubbock. He was 84.
Quinton was born March 31, 1927, in Bowie, Texas, to Thomas Jefferson and Ida Mae (Martin) Hill. He moved to Lubbock in 1939 and married Doris Ray Grizzell on April 5, 1952. He worked as a Union Iron Worker. He also owned a mobile home park
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 18, 2011, at Sanders Funeral Home in Lubbock. The Rev. Garland Stewart will be officiating Saturday's service, which is under directions of Sanders Funeral Home of Lubbock.
