Rhoda Lawrence was born on May 4, 1763 in Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Her parents were Samuel Lawrence and Rhoda Benedict. She was married two times. Her first Husband was Nathaniel Keeler (son of Isaac keeler and Rachel Northrop). They were married on March 1, 1786 in South Salem, Westchester County, New York. Their children were Elizabeth (Mrs. James Blatchley), Isaac, Minor Lawrence, and Rachel P. (Mrs. Abel Biggs). After the death of Nathaniel in 1807, Rhoda married her 2nd husband named Ebenezer Seeley Blatchley. He was the father-in-law of Rhoda's daughter, Elizabeth.
