AN OLD CONFEDERATE GONE

Austin B. Harvey was born March 1st, 1836, and died Feb 9th, 1923, aged 86 years, 10 months and 24 days. Mr. Harvey, for many years, resided on Beech Run, near Hinton, and was favorably known.

He was the son of M.W. and Nancy Tate Harvey, of Monroe County, and was married Jan. 18th 1857 to Mary A. Ellison. He is survived by his wife and nine children-seven sons and two daughters.

He joined the Primitive Baptist Church the fourth Sunday in July 1876, and was a consistent member until death.

He leaves many relatives to mourn their loss. He was kind and loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
