Abbie Knotts, 80, Holliday Manor, died Monday afternoon.
A native of Tipton County, she was born Aug.12,1898 to William and Myrtle Walker.
Her husband Hobart Knotts died in 1971. They were married June 15,1918.
Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Alma Idlewine of Elwood, Mrs. Betty Kunkel of Montpelier and Mrs. Deloise Strait of Anderson, a son Eugene Knotts of Montpelier, nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Edna Parr of Curtisville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Copher & Fesler funeral home with Rev. Stephen Salsberry officiating. Burial will be made in the Elwood city cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m.
