JOHN STOW, 2nd son of John & Elizabeth (Bigg) Stow, was baptized at Biddenden, Kent, 10 October 1619.
He returned to England, resided at Cranbrook, Kent, and died without issue between 28 September 1643 (date of will) and 2 December 1643 (probate of will), leaving a will which included bequests to brothers Thomas, Nathaniel and Samuel and sisters Elizabeth and Thankful (married names of sisters not given) [NEHGR 93:297-98, citing
"Archdeaconry of Canterbury, vol. for 1643, no. 428"].
