Services for Daniel Leroy Hayes, 59, of Owosso, Mich and formerly of Newark, will be at 1 pm Friday, February 18, 1972 in the Chapel of Jennings and Lions Funeral Home, Owosso. Mr Hayes died Monday afternoon, February 14, 1972 in Miami, Florida while working as bus driver/ guide for the Indian Trail Bus Co and suffering a fetal heart attack while on tour. He was formerly employed by Owens-Corning Fiberglass Corp in Newark. He was a member of Owosso Masonic Lodge 81 and Warren Chapter RAM of Newark.
Among those surviving are: two brothers, Maurice Hayes and Kenneth Hayes, both of Miami; his wife, Marion Hayes; daughter, Sandy Hayes of the home; a step sister, Charlotte of North Carolina; and an aunt.
