Lawrence F. Brandenburg, 69, of 1038 N. MacArthur Blvd., a painter by trade, was killed in an auto accident at Rt. 124 and Andrews Road at 11:20 a.m. Sunday.
Mr. Brandenburg was born in Springfield the son of William and Clara Tomlinson Brandenburg. He married Martha Werner in 1937.
Surviving are his wife, Martha B.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Shepherd of Chula Vista, Calif., Mrs. Frank (Georgia) Shomidie of Springfield; and one brother, Elwood of Lake Petersburg; several nieces and nephews.
Staab Funeral Home is charge of arrangements.
