OSCAR DUNCAN DEAD AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Oscar Duncan died at the home of his brother, Wilson Duncan at Kimmins, Tuesday at 8:A.M. after a lingering illness with tuberculosis, age 29 years.
Mr. Duncan had been deaf and dumb from birth and was educated at the school for deaf and dumb at Knoxville. He went to Ohio where he was married and he is survived by his wife and one small child.
He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Babe Duncan of this place, two brothers, Wilson, of Kimmins and Pierce of Hohenwald, and four sisters, Mesdames, Nettie Hickerson and Ethel Hinson of Cane Creek and Misses Louise and Lillie Duncan of the home.
The remains were carried to the Duncan Cemetery on Cane Creek Wednesday for burial in the family plot.
The deceased was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
