Marysville - Richard C. Striker, 75, died Friday, Dec. 30, 1988 in Mercy

Hospital.

He was born Oct. 26, 1913, in Detroit and was resident for 40 years. He

married Bernadette "Mike" Westrick Dec. 19, 1938 in Indiana.

Mr. Striker owned an operated a service station in Marysville for many years and

was also employed at Chrysler Plant in Marysville and at the Marysville W???

Plant, retiring in 1975. He served as Past President of the Marysville Lions

Club and was on the Board of Directors of the White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in

Troy. He was a member of Marysville Masonic Lodge 498.

He is survived by his widow and son and daughter-in-law Richard C. and Fay

Striker, of Maynard, Mass.; three daughters and sons-in-law Kay and Jack Murray

and Ray Ann and Malcolm Smith all of Marysville and Mary and Michael Smith of

North Street and Margaret "Micki" Hendrick of Port Huron. ? grandchildren and

one great granddaughter; a brother Eugene R. Striker of Marysville and one

niece.

Services will be held in St. Christopher Catholic Church,

Marysville. The Rev. Thomas Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Riverlawn

Cemeter;y.

L. C. Friederichs & Sons

Funeral Home. Mr. Striker's grandsons will act as pallbearers. A Masonic

Memorial Service will be held on Monday evening.

Memorials may be made to the Lions Leader Dogs for the Blind, the Moslem Temple

for Crippled Childrens Fund.
