Lucy M. Hanscom, 90, died April 27, 2008, at a Lincoln health care facility. She was born July 17, 1917, in Woodville, the daughter of Roscoe E. Archer Sr. and Mahala (Jordon) Archer. Lucy was a 1935 graduate of Mattanawcook Academy. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter V. Hanscom. She is survived by one brother, Roscoe E. Archer Jr. of Enfield; two sisters, Tina Cole of Lincoln and Meg Bongirne of Seminole, Fla. a very special nephew, Rocky Archer of Eastport; several other neices and nephews.
