Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m.Wednesday at Kiker Funeral Home in Colorado City,Tx for Lucy J. Henley 73 of,Roswell,NM .
Mrs Henley died Sunday following a lengthy illness.
She came to Roswell five months ago to live with her daughter.
Mrs Henley was the daughter of Ben and Rebecca Rishenback Cook. She was born March 18,1897 in Colorado City,Tx.
Lucy Cook married George Henley on Dec.24,1914 in Colorado City.
George Henley preceded her in death May 7,1965.
She is survived by one daughter,Roxie Fatheree and husband Bob of Roswell,NM and three sisters, Mrs W.T.Troegel of Shreveport,LA; Mrs.Dollie Young of Delaware,AR; Mrs. Nell White of Garrison,Tx.
She is also preceded in death by one son Henry Jay(Bud)Henley who was KIA in Italy in 1943.
Burial will be in the Colorado City Cemetery.
