My Great Grandpa Carl was born in Germany in 1867, he came over to the USA when he was 3yrs old in 1870 with his parents Christian Dobrinski and Katherine Labs and his Four siblings. They went to Wisconsin and homesteaded in Marquette County. He married Caroline Thalacker on 3/18/1891 in Harris. They moved to North Dakota in 1905, then on to Colorado in 1910, and then moved one last time to Arkansas in 1926. Carl was a good carpenter, he built most the houses he lived in and always farmed the land he owned. I have been told that he was a very intelligent man, and that he did not talk a great deal, but when he did you listened.
