Mary Ann Gay was the 8th child of Henry and Boyd Gay. She attended schools in Bakersfield California, Waurika Oklahama and Corcoran California. She met and married Jack Harold Eversole on July 19, 1965. They had one child, Peggy Lynn Eversole. After they divorced Mary Ann was in a relationship with Rosaleo Franco and she had a daughter Jessica Franco.
Mary grew up in a large family and like her sisters she learned a lot of gospel songs from her mother. Mary was a strong christian and loved the music. She knew the words and tunes to a multitude of christian music. She had a beautiful voice. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents Boyd and Henry Gay, and one brother, David Allan Gay.
She is survived by Her daughter Jessica Franco and her daughter Peggy Munoz, son-in-law Joe Munoz, two grandchildren; Joseph Munoz and Valorie Munoz. Also by her three sisters, Janet Dresser, Joyce Lombardi, and Wanda Sheppard, and 5 brothers, Elmer Gay, J W Gay, Leslie Gay, Bruce Gay, and Vernon Gay.
Mary was buried next to her mother Boyd Stout-Gay at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Bakersfield CA.
