Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2003 at Cure' of Ars, Leawood. A rosary will be held at 10 a.m. before the funeal mass. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Patrick was born on July 19, 1962 in Wichita to Robert and Susan Vickers.
He attended the University of Kansas, where he received a Bachelor of Science in journalism.
He married Polly Carney and togethey they began their family. Their son, Ryan and daughters, Emily, Abigail and Devon were the light of his life.
A successfull entrepreneur, Patrick was most recently involved with Real Foods, Inc. He is a former board member for the annual fund of the Cerebral Palsy Research Foundation and was a lifetime supporter of Special Olympics.
Patrick has a true love of the outdoors and enjoyed many great adventures including, camping in Colorado with his family, skiing in Sun Valley and river rafting in Nepal.
Preced by father, Robert F. Vickers, Sr. Survivors: mother, Susan; wife Polly; children, Ryan, Emily, Abigail and Devon; three siblings, Casey Roth, Bobby Vickers and Shannon Rixson.
