Son of Walter S. Boireau and Lois Berry. Husband of Eileen Frieswyk, was a Realtor in Massachusetts.

He was a passenger aboard Eastern Airlines Flight 212 which crashed three miles short of the runway of Charlotte/Douglas International Airport. Sixty nine people were killed in the crash with only ten survivors.
