DEWEY E.D. BARR SR. HOWELL TOWNSHIP. Dewey E.D.Barr St., 67, of Rt. 9, Howell Township, died yesterday in Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, after a long illness.Mr. Barr had lived in Red Bank 27 years before moving here in 1954. He was a retired ship’s radio operator with the Standard Oil Co. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Free and Accepted Masons Red Bank Lodge 277.Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha P. Thompson Barr; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Friscia of Rumson, Mrs. Adrienne Antrim of Freehold, Mrs. Martha Jane Rue of Red Bank and Mrs. Pamela Reed of Colts Neck; a sister, Mrs. Zoe Johnson of Little Rock, Ark., and six grandchildren.Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Clayton Funeral Home Adelphis, with Rev. Samuel LaPenta of the Colts Neck Reformed Church officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
