Edith Shultz Kelley, 99, of Waynesburg, died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2007, in Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, following a brief illness.
She was born February 25, 1907, in Waynesburg, a daughter of George T. and Lucy Jane Ketchem Shultz.
Mrs. Kelley worked as a housekeeper for several years and later worked for Sutton's Printing. She was also a homemaker.
She enjoyed sewing and taking care of her house plants.
Her husband, Robert V. Kelley, died December 4, 1951.
Surviving are a daughter, Angelene and husband Boyt Blair of Waynesburg; two sons, Robert V. and wife Janet Kelley and Daniel S. Kelley, both of Waynesburg; seven grandchildren, Rebecca McCollum, Laurel Kenna, Melissa Loizes, Ryan Kelley, Charles Blair, Julie Mariner and Brant Blair; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Brown of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a granddaughter; three sisters, Inez Orndoff, Hazel I. Morris and Hilda S. Haines; and five brothers, Ralph, Floyd, Harold, Glenn and Morris Shultz.
