Heze Eugene Carlton, age 92, of Hensley, passed away Friday, November 18, 2011. He was born February 14, 1919 in Sutton, Arkansas.
Mr. Carlton was a W.W. II Army-Air Force Veteran and worked at Reynolds Metal for 30 years. He was a member of East Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Carlton was preceded in death by his parents, Porter and Maude Carlton and his wife, Euna Bea Lee Carlton.
He is survived by two sons, Steve and Jim Carlton; daughter, Joann Hollenberger; brother, Gaylord Carlton; sister, Ruby Shellnut; six grandchildren, Bob, James and Jeff Mitchell and Todd, Steven and Laura Carlton and three great-grandchildren, Michelle Mitchell and Austin and Blain Carlton.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 21 at Ashby Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 10:00 Tuesday, November 22 at Salem Cemetery in East End. Bro. Ron Sanders will be officiating.
Memorials may be made to Salem Cemetery in East End.
