She was born Jan. 11, 1925, at Boxley, the daughter of Robert Hez Villines and Minerva "Minnie" Mae (Edgmon) Villines. She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Newton County.
Survivors are three sons, Rodney Phillips, of Hermiston, Ore., Henry Phillips, of Batavia and Nelson Phillips, of Bergman; nine daughters, Mary Caroline Morgan, of Mt. Sherman, Bobbie Breedlove, of Parthenon, Diantha Breedlove, of Jasper, Cathy Breedlove, of Mt. Sherman, Betsy Braswell, of Harrison, Tammy Vanderwaal, of Parthenon, Jan Edgmon, of Mt. Sherman, Tonda Ervin, of Springdale and Ginger Holtby, of Harrison; 43 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons. Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Flora Villines, of Oklahoma and a brother-in-law, Roy Phillips, of Jasper.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at the Jasper First Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Union Hill Cemetery at Parthenon. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie Mae of the home; two sons Larkin and Neubern both of Tulsa, 0kla.; three daughters, Nell Flud and Mary, Ruth Phillips; both of Jasper and Georgia Burton of Independence Mo.; four brothers, Floyd of Clanada, California, Clyde of Boxley, Ralph, of Dayton, Ohio and Forrest of Santa Maria, California; three sisters, Grace Fults of Harrison, Lucy Scroggins Ponca and Blanche Scroggins of Boxley; 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
