William A Parrish Sr. of R.R. 1, Springfield died at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday at his residence. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America, Teamsters Union in Decatur and was retired from National-By Products Co. and the Peabody Coal Co. A brother, Harrison died in 1971. Surviving are his wife, Mildred; one son, William A. Parrish Jr. of Mason City; five daughters, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Wilson, Mrs. Richard (Mary) Clark, both of Springfield, Mrs. Thomas (Joy) Wilson of Dawson, Mrs. Robert (Rose)Buds of Odin and Mrs. Tim (Pat) Brown of Madison, Ind.; three sisters, Mrs. Carl Sours, Mrs. Fred Moushon, both of Springfield and Mrs. Jasper Nighswonger of Carterville, Mo.; 29 grandchildren; two greatgranddaughters; one greatgrandson; several nieces and newphews. Bisch Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.

Serivices for William A. Parrish Sr. of R. R. 1, Springfield, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bisch Memorial Home with Rev. Kenneth LaFary officiating. Burial will be in Old Baptist Cemetery, Sesser. Mr Parrish died at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday at this Residence.
