Anna J. Larson, 79, of Eagan, Minn., formerly of Spring Valley, died Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Anna Jorgine Soderberg was born Aug. 6, 1919, in Canton, S. D., to Axel Soderberg and Jorgine Stolen Soderberg. She attended and graduated from Lake Mills, Iowa, High School and on Jan 30, 1941, she married Joseph Larson in Forest City, Iowa. To this union three children were born, Darrell, Daniel and Larry. Her husband died Dec. 6, 1997. Lincoln County, S.D. On Jan. 30, 1941, she married Joseph Larson in Forest City, Iowa. He died Dec. 6, 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Darrell of Dekalb, Ill., and Daniel and his wife, Lisa, of Minneapolis; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lillian Pitkin of Mason City, Iowa, and Norma (Mrs. Orval) Thuestad of Creston, Ill.
She was preceded her in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph, a son, Larry, and two sisters, Rexine and Alvita.
The funeral was Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Spring Valley with the Rev. Jon Olson officiating. Burial was in Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery.
Hindt-Hutchins Funeral Home in Spring Valley was in charge of arrangements.
