O'Neal, Martha "Marty", 90, of Tampa, passed away November 19, 2011. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed. Marty was born in Pulaski, Tennessee, and later married the love of her life, LCDR Floyd W. O'Neal, to whom she was married for 61 years until he preceded her in death. As he served his country in the U.S. Navy, she was a devoted and faithful wife whom all who knew her admired. She was a dedicated member of the University Church of Christ, Tampa. Marty is survived by her 2 children, Karen O' Neal Lackie and her husband, Jim, and Michael O'Neal and his wife, Mary; 5 grandchildren, Nathan Lackie, Anna Lackie and her husband Ben, Angela O'Neal, Robert O' Neal, Alex O'Neal, and; 2 great grandchildren, Reagan O'Neal, and Conner O' Neal, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to send out special thanks to very dear Emma Rodriquez, who was her caregiver who took perfect care of her. Thank you, Emma, we all love and appreciate you. Also a special thank you to Dr. Leon Mitchell and Dr. O' Neal. The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Monday, November 21, with funeral services on Tuesday, November 23 at 11am, both at Blount Curry Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss, Tampa. Interment to immediately follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
