Donald Clark Senterfitt, 72, went to his Heavenly home on Monday, November 21, 2011. He was born on August 19, 1939 in Austin, Texas to Roscoe Clifford Senterfitt and Marjorie Ellen Taylor Senterfitt.
Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Don worked as an Electrical Technician at The University of Texas and retired after years of dedicated service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Thelma Adams; and brother, Rodney (Buster) Senterfitt.
Don will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 26 years, Kathy Swofford Senterfitt; sons, Brad Bearden and wife, Karalyn and Mark Bearden and wife Glenda; grandchildren, Daniel Bearden, Shannon Bearden, Kellie Bearden, and Matthew Bearden; brother, Robert C. Eby and wife, Cynthia; nephew, Jeffrey Eby and family; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 25, 2011 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with a Funeral Service to begin at 2:00 P.M., Pastor Phillip Stephens officiating.
Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park with Military Honors rendered by the U. S. Navy.
