Abigail was the daughter of Jacob Sheafe and Hannah (Seavey) Sheafe. She was the wife of Judge John Pickering, the first federal official in the United States to be impeached and convicted. Both Abigail and John died in 1805. They had six children Abigail, Hannah, Frances, Lucretia, Jacob and Susan.
