Took part in the fighting at Long Island and Monmouth and was captured and held prisoner in New York for 9 months. Married by Joseph Powell, October 15th, 1793, Allegheny county, Maryland, to Elizabeth Little. Granted pension and Monongahelia county, and 1833 died March 31st, 1845, and is buried at the Baxter Cunningham cemetery, Marion county. The Widow applied for a pension, March 5th 1846. In Marion county, which was granted, bountyland warrants were also issued for 160 acres.
